The other day our entire family, yes all 6 of us, were blessed to be invited to spend some time on a farm owned by a friend of Jared's family. I was really nervous the day before that I wouldn't be able to go. It's about a 2 hour drive, and I was afraid I wouldn't feel good, or that if I went I would hurt once we got there and ruin the fun. But, that morning, I felt pretty good and decided to go. I'm so glad I did! I felt great the whole time! The couple who had invited us are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Here are some pictures from our time on the farm!
| First we walked out in the fields to meet the calf. What a cutie! |
| The kids were able to pet her. |
| Next we fed the goat. |
| Then we spent some time with the show pigeons. |
| The babies still had some down under their wings. |
| After the pigeons came the chickens! |
| And last of all the horse. |
| Mr. N volunteered to be first to take a ride. |
| All done! He had the biggest smile on the entire time! |
| Next was Mr. G. |
| They showed him where to hold on. |
| He had a blast! |
| Miss R was third. She was a little hesitant at first, but once she was on, she loved it. |
| Miss O was last. She was nervous so the granddaughter of the couple we were with volunteered to go with her. She was so sweet! |
After the farm we had a picnic lunch at a park in a small town. It was so lovely and quiet and we enjoyed the company of our new friends.
Thank You, Father, for giving us such a wonderful day.
