"I am living with Mordecai. Two men came to see if any maidens were here. I was beautiful and they took me. We spent MONTHS of beauty treatments. Finally, we were brought before the King. He said, “Hmmm. Bring back that girl Esther.” So I was brought back, and I was made Queen. It turned out Vashti disobeyed the king, so a search was made throughout the Kingdom for maidens.

A man named Haman was made head prince. He, by a rule, should be bowed to whenever he passed. Only Mordecai did not.

Haman wanted all Jews killed, including Mordecai, AND ME! So when I found out from Mordecai, I invited the king to two banquets.

At the second banquet I told about Haman. Even though Haman was dead, I had to tell the king to undo the law. He couldn't but made a law. Today is Purim."
